CLINICAL  COORDINATOR

Life Alaska Donor Services is seeking a Clinical Coordinator who can excel in donor family support, tissue recovery and professional education.  Responsibilities include potential donor referral triage and coordination, donor family support, medical and social history screening, aseptic tissue recovery, operating room support for organ donation cases, as well as providing professional and public development to strengthen relationships with hospitals, medical examiners, funeral homes and EMS. This position includes on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis in addition to the M-F 40 hour work week.  

Requirements include: LPN, CST, EMT, or strong skills in a related field, and a minimum of one year surgical experience and/or tissue recovery experience. Successful candidates must be able to obtain CTBS upon completing one year of employment.

Must reside within a one hour response time of Anchorage hospitals, and must possess a valid driver’s license.  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 70 pounds.  Travel is required and may extend to lengthy hours away from the Anchorage area.
